I think that music catalogers would welcome Recommendation 1 in particular, since it would allow using the caption over a list title page, if the MLA Best Practices decide to implement that. I have mixed feelings about this proposal, having lived through presenting and discussing proposals to expand the set of relationship designators in original RDA. I believe the Translations Team Liaison Officer has made a reasonable justification, but the RSC will need to deal with this "slippery slope". ...

Hi Karl- We either have a problem of missing elements (inverses that are mentioned but not proposed: relative of, spouse of, and sibling of), or a problem of incorrect references to inverses for those elements. I think it's the latter. For example, see how "colleague" is currently treated ...
