Core CC:DA Public Space

Hi folks:

I've been contacted by our NARDAC representatives, Bob Maxwell and Adam Schiff, to see if CC:DA would be interested in planning some kind of practical, preconference training. This would be a half-day preconference. Bob and Adam want to hear from us on what kind of training, content etc. would be useful.  Those not currently on the CC:DA committee, please feel free to chime in on what kind of preconference you would like to see offered.

So, the first question is would CC:DA be interested in helping to plan something like this? And secondly, what would you like to see offered? Let me know. We can discuss also at the upcoming CC:DA meeting in February.

Based on the CC:DA discussion today, I wonder if something about application profiles would be useful. Topics could include which ones are currently available and in use, tips from those who have developed (or are in the middle of developing) them, how they will be used, and who might be responsible for preparing them.
