I am a seasoned information professional with a blazing drive to disseminate quality information of all sorts to those who need it (or perhaps simply want it!). I worked for the Chicago Public Library system for seven years, and in that time, I experienced nearly every side of the system--I was a page in a neighborhood branch, then a circulation clerk at the system headquarters (the renowned Harold Washington Library Center), and finally a children's librarian at a regional library for the north side of the city. It is my pleasure and honor to now assist in coordination and marketing for continuing education offerings through Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures, a division of the rightfully prestigious American Library Association. These courses and webinars are designed for library staff and information professionals to further their knowledge in the field, and having been in roles that would be taking these courses, it's been truly fulfilling to help on the other side. I firmly believe that a global improvement in information literacy and curated information delivery can better humanity and get it to thrive in just about every area of its existence.
