Join us for the Library Facilities & Interiors Interest Group (LFIG) Open Zoom Session!
    Tuesday, March 3, 2026, 12–1 PM CST

Are you thinking about how library spaces can better support your users? Curious how others are tackling renovations, planning new spaces, or making the most of limited resources? Come join this open conversation with colleagues who plan, design, and shape library environments of all kinds.

We'll explore hot topics in library facilities and interiors, including:

    • Adapting spaces for emerging technologies
    • Designing welcoming, inclusive, user‑centered environments
    • Balancing sustainability, flexibility, and budget constraints
    • Justifying additional seats or library space compared to other campus buildings
    • What libraries offer that dorm or academic study spaces don't
    • Data‑driven approaches to connecting library spaces with student success

Bring your questions, examples, and challenges-large or small. This is an informal conversation to compare notes, exchange ideas, and learn from peers working through similar issues.

    Registration is now open!
