    I haven't posted yet, so I have not tested the functionality, but I do have a few thoughts about the list of consulting areas.
    • What is meant by "automation?" Alone, it is a dated term, but if you mean "library automation," that has historically meant ILSes. A more current generic term is "Technology."
    • Other areas you might consider: Integrated library systems, technology planning, library platforms, e-content, open access, open-source software, emerging technology, metadata, and analytics.
    I'd be interested in others' thoughts on these additions.

    Wwe resolved the challenge with the Core Library Consultants Directory. There was a permission I didn't have. 

    I published all consultant entries as of this morning. Check your entry and let me know if changes need to be made.

    To add your name to the Directory, click this link to add your consultancy contact information and submit it for inclusion in the CORE Library Consulting Interest Group Directory.  If you have problems or comments, please post to discussion and email me at: cnorman_sandiego@yahoo.com .

    Thanks for getting this going.  My entry looks right.

    My team member Randy/Randall Maxey is listed twice.  I think the Randy listing is the correct one.

    Question:  The State search only shows the state where consultants are based, but I assume most consultants and firms are like ours and work in multiple states, beyond just where they live.  We've done a ton of work in Michigan and Illinois but do not have any team members living there.  We might want to discuss how best to address service geography in this directory beyond the home state of the consultant.
