Great Discuss Eileen Since Annual will be in my hometown in 2022 (DC), I am hoping to get money for LibLearnX. Hello, The theme of today's wonderful and thoughtful Council Orientation was about recognizing microaggressions and providing microinterventions. I had a question for Councilors. If we are following Robert's Rules and we see a microaggression from someone speaking what is our role as a bystander? ...

Stephaine, Writing a resolution is not tough. Let's do it. Do you have a Resolution started yet? We can all add to it. As the Mover, you will have control over the final drafts, until you present it on the floor. I'm looking in the Manuals for supporting statements. Anyone who can add why Library ...

They will have more commitments and it will be in by the 48 hour rule. Send it to any ALA groups that will have to touch on it like Comm on Legislation ...

There are good points being made on the ALA Council Listserv.  A good point was made that these discussions should be on in Connect so there would be a record and others can see our deliberations and contribute.     So this is a test message to see what a Connect Discussion message would look like. ...
