I'm pleased to share the creation of a new group in ALA Connect, Rainbow Council Caucus. Modeled on the efforts of the Youth Council Caucus, RCC aims to promote collaboration among Councilors on LGBTQIA+ matters.

The Rainbow Council Caucus is comprised ALA Councilors who are members of Rainbow Round Table, identify as LGBTQIA+, or as an ally. The group exists to ensure that LGBTQIA+ issues are adequately addressed in ALA Council. This space in ALA Connect is meant to be a resource where Rainbow Council Caucus members can exchange information and network. Rainbow Council Caucus will meet in person during LibLearnX and Annual conferences.
