In attendance were thought leaders throughout the industry from libraries, library consortia, publishers, distributors and other experts. It was sponsored by the American Library Association and its Association for Specialized, Government and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASGCLA) division and emerged from conversations among members of ASGCLA’s Consortial Ebooks Interest Group.The National Ebook Summit was born from the work of the ASGCLA Consortial Ebooks Interest Group and has been made possible with financial support from the American Library Association, Califa Group and the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS). Generous staff time has been provided by the Association of Specialized, Government and Cooperative Library Agencies, a division of the American Library Association, Califa Group, Massachusetts Library System and the Reaching Across Illinois Library System.
