I saw this blog post, which is really interesting. "What is a Machine Learning Librarian" https://machinelearninglibrarian.substack.com/p/what-is-a-machine-learning-librarian . It is by the Machine Learning Librarian with Huggingface. Huggingface is an AI company with offerings similar to ChatGPT. In contrast to other large scale trained implementations of artificial intelligence, Huggingface is truly open and releases code as well as trained models. From the blog post, Huggingface hosts a Hub "which holds over 300,000 machine learning models, 62,753 datasets and 1000s of machine learning applications and demos". It is possible to get at the inner workings of the software - not just an API, which is what most other artificial intelligence applications are to people not working at the company.
