    Description:

Libraries face many challenges with the potential of generative AI and its use and impact on library services. But as we explore these challenges, we must not forget to have ethics at the forefront of our decision-making.

Join us for "A Compendium of Ethical Issues in Generative AI and the Path Forward," an hour-long presentation by Arjay Romanowski of the University of Rochester. The presentation will be followed by a panel, "Ethical Generative AI and Librarianship: Can They Work Together?" with representatives from academic, public, and school libraries.

This presentation will be recorded and distributed to attendees up to 4 weeks after the event.
