Core will offer a tour of four unique libraries in Salt Lake City on Thursday, October 13, during the 2022 Core Forum. The full-day tour will feature a visit to the Family History Library where attendees will have the opportunity to explore the newly renovated building.
The renovations to the Family History Library significantly improve discovery and research experiences. The library also shares knowledge and support virtually, making more and more books available online through the FamilySearch Digital Library. Several public libraries, as well as special and academic libraries, partner with Family Search. Partner libraries have shared parts of their collections with FamilySearch and work together scanning books and other media to be searched online. Along with Lynn Turner, Director FamilySearch Family History Library, staff will showcase their collections, technology, and assist attendees in genealogy research.
