    Dear colleagues,

    On behalf of the Music Library Association, I am happy to provide the ALA Core Metadata Interest Group with a summary of cataloging updates from our organization: 2023 Summer Updates from the Music Library Association Cataloging and Metadata Committee.

    Unfortunately, I will not be in attendance at ALA, so Morris Levy, OCLC representative to MLA's cataloging committees, will be at the interest group meeting in my place to answer any questions you may have.
