    Hello IG members,

Results from our focused discussion interest survey are in. The top two discussion topics were future planning for technical services and how to do a workload study. For our first discussion, we are going to cover future planning for technical services. We will cover how to do a workload study at a later date.

Our first focused discussion will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CST on Zoom. No registration is necessary. Prior to this meeting, Tammie and I would like everyone to read "Time Horizon 2020: Library Renaissance" by Susan Gibbons. This short opinion piece is about academic libraries, but we feel it is applicable to technical services in general.
