In October 2024, the Technical Services Workflow Efficiency (TSWE) Interest Group (IG) Co-chairs invited IG members to complete a short survey ranking their interest in topics for a focused discussion. Results from the survey indicated a strong interest in learning more about conducting a workload study. The TSWE co-chairs are excited to announce that Ian McCullough, Melanie McGurr, and Mike Monaco, co-authors of "Faculty Workload Guidelines in Technical Services," published in the edited volume Technical Services in the 21st Century, will join us on Wednesday, Feb 5, 2025, 10:00 AM Central Time on Zoom in leading a panel discussion on this topic. At this session, Ian, Melanie, and Mike will discuss their experience conducting a workload study, including coverage of workload documents, workload equity, and labor issues in librarianship. This meeting will not be recorded to promote open dialogue, but registration is required.
