Core Library Leaders and Managers Interest Group

Please plan to join our next drop-in session on Wednesday, December 3,  at 2:00 eastern / 1:00 central / 12:00 mountain / 11:00 pacific.

How might you describe your career goals?  Are you an advancer, a stayer, or maybe even an exiter?  Kyle Cox will share results of a recent member survey of Core's Leadership and Management Section. The survey revealed reasons members join L&M, their career direction, and topics of interest for training, meetings, and other programming for the Section and our Interest Group.

Kyle Cox is executive director and chief librarian for Mid-Columbia Libraries in Kennewick, WA.  He worked on the survey with Jennifer Steinford from Columbia Southern University, Natalie Kulick from Misericordia University, and Amanda Click from the U.S. Naval Academy.

This event is open to anyone regardless of library type. Participation in the interest group or our events does not require membership in ALA or ALA Core. Attendees for the zoom drop-ins can stop in for a minute or stay for the entire session. The sessions are not recorded to encourage open and honest discussion.
