    Greetings –

     

    The September issue of CD HotList: New Releases for Libraries (http://cdhotlist.com) has been posted and, as always, is freely available to all. This month's recommendations include some contemporary Algerian jazz from Karim Ziad; avant-guitar and drums from René Lussier and Robbie Kuster; the final album from the late, lamented Mark Stewart; vintage Brooklyn country music from Mimi Roman; a new album from AAPI Jazz Collective; Bach's Art of Fugue performed on stringed instruments purchased for him by the Leipzig Thomaskirche; and much more.
