    Greetings –

The September issue of CD HotList: New Releases for Libraries (http://cdhotlist.com) has been posted and is freely available to all. This month's recommendations include world-premiere performances of Masses by the neglected Portuguese composer Filipe de Magalhães; a new recording of John Cage's music for prepared piano; new jazz from Doug MacDonald; new sorta-jazz from Kris Davis and her ensemble; riotous honky-tonk from Deke Dickerson and the Whippersnappers; Singaporean indie pop from Sobs; and much more. Enjoy!
