The Core Preservation Outreach Committee is looking for new members!
The Preservation Outreach Committee promotes preservation among libraries, other cultural organizations, and members of the public through programming and outreach activities.
Committee members can help:

Plan and facilitate Core initiatives, including Preservation Week and Preservation in Action, a volunteer-service opportunity helping a smaller organization rehouse collections during the ALA annual conference.

Update the preservationweek.org website with information and resources.

Answer preservation questions submitted by the public if interested. Questions are infrequent.
Time commitment: 1-2.5 hours a month - typically a 1-hour meeting a month and a little work supporting the above activities in-between.
