    Greetings –

     

    The August issue of CD HotList: New Releases for Libraries (http://cdhotlist.com) has been posted and is freely available to all. This month's recommendations include lots of genre-straddling selections: the complete rags of William Bolcom; the jazz-adjacent-but-not-exactly-jazz debut album of bassist Anna Butterss; Chastity Brown's soully Americana; the Brother Brothers' smooth pop-country; and two albums of South Asian rock fusion. Also much more, including a recently rediscovered live Ella Fitzgerald recording. Enjoy!
