I would like to solidify our new taskforce rosters in the coming week or so. Please feel free to distribute to others (co-workers, other committees or groups, etc.). My preference will be to have the rosters filled, with chairs, by August 8th. The below information is what we have so far including needs for each taskforce.
Taskforce to Review and Provide Recommendation on the IFLA Accessibility Metadata Statement and Principles
- There are currently 3 volunteers for this taskforce.
- We still need a chair from the membership of the committee (both voting members and liaisons are eligible).
Taskforce to Review Compound Surnames in RDA
- There are currently 5 volunteers for this taskforce.
- We still need a chair from the membership of the committee (both voting members and liaisons are eligible).
Taskforce to Propose Familial Relationships for RDA
- There are currently 3 volunteers for this taskforce.
- We have a chair for this taskforce.
Please consider serving on any of these, but especially the IFLA and Familial Relationships in RDA taskforces. It would be nice to have a couple more volunteers for these.
