tablet and separate barcode scanner: how are they configured on the lift

    All,

A question for those of you who use a tablet (and possibly a separate barcode scanner?) when you are picking requests in the module/chamber. Do you attach the tablet to the order picker somehow (zip ties?) and it stays attached until you complete the retrieval run and pull it off to charge it or sync it up with computer? Do any of you store the tablet in a pocket? On a lanyard around your neck? If you have a separate barcode scanner, how do you carry that with you?  Does anyone use a barcode scanning application that takes advantage of the camera on the tablet and thus do NOT use a separate  handheld barcode scanner?

I am asking about safety for staff and equipment and also about simple logistics.

    Best,

    Cathy
