    Dear Preservation Colleagues,

    The University of Chicago Library Preservation Department is pleased to share the posting for our summer Mary and Samuel Somit Preservation Internship (2023 Mary and Samuel Somit Preservation Internship).  This year's project will focus on copyright issues for our NEH Mapping Chicagoland digitization project, a collaborative project with the Chicago History Museum and the Newberry Library to digitize, catalog, and georeference over 5,000 sheet maps and atlases of Chicago.  Application information can be found withing the posting.
