    Hello all,

    I am a first-semester Library and Information Sciences student at the University of Illinois. This is also my first attempt at connecting with collective wisdom in the profession.  I am writing this message hoping to find librarians who, for reasons out of their control (hurricanes, blackouts, etc.), have had to shift from digital to physical resources and vice versa or with librarians that have implemented strategies to do this shifting in their libraries. I am trying to explore the topic of the increasing digital divide in the profession and assess whether there is still parity of access in the use of both types of resources.
