  • 1.  Shelf Labeling

    Posted 17 hours ago

    Hello All,

We have an offsite storage project that's close to wrapping up, and the client would like to start barcoding shelves within the next two months.  They've asked our team for suggestions or best practices in procuring and applying shelf labels, but this is not a part of projects we're typically involved with.  Does anyone here have recommendations for vendors or suggested workflows/strategies for applying the labels?  Any information is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Greg.

We have used Watson Label in St. Louis for years and have been happy. Aside from creating the barcodes our library uses to place on circulating materials, Watson created the shelf address and barcode labels we use for our high-density storage shelving.
