Join us on September 3 for a lively discussion with library leaders and managers about intention-setting for the next annual cycle. Even if you're not working in an educational setting, the end of summer creates opportunities to establish goals, projects, and other operations at any library. Yet how can we plan (and communicate a plan) while navigating the shifting sands of budgets, staffing levels, political and community pressure?
Our September 3 zoom drop-in will begin at 2:00 eastern / 1:00 central / 12:00 mountain / 11:00 pacific. Join the discussion through this link:

These events are open to anyone regardless of library type. Participation in the interest group or our events does not require membership in ALA or ALA Core. Attendees for the zoom drop-ins can stop in for a minute or stay for the entire session. The sessions are not recorded to encourage open and honest discussion.
These events always include time for other questions and topics. What current challenge do you face as a manager or leader? How might the hive mind help to inform, support, and encourage you?
We look forward to "seeing" you on September 3.
