About this Group

Purpose: Identifies the forces of change in the development and management of collections as they affect the individual selector and the selector's ability to address and manage these changes. Presents forums and programs, designs guidelines, identifies resources, and collects and disseminates information.

This interest group is part of Core's Metadata and Collections Section.

    Hello Core Collection Development Issues for the Practitioner Interest Group,

    It is me again from the Core Interest Group Coordination Committee. This is just a friendly reminder that we need to know your designated Chair for the 22-23 year. The chair should complete the May Report for IGs:

    This form will ask for the new Chair when the May report is selected.

    Please let the IG Coordination Committee know by August 15th of the new chair for your group.
