The joint GNCRT/SAC/OLAC working group advocating for the inclusion of compound terms in the LCGFT vocabulary has finished our report. As a reminder, our group was attempting to justify the validity and use value of so-called "compound terms" containing words from more than one already-existing genre or form; these are often subgenres, like "Paranormal romance fiction," "Queer fantasy comics," "Musical horror films" or "Folk metal music."
I'm attaching the report here, for SAC review. If possible, the working group was hoping for an endorsement at next week's SAC meeting.
Thanks in advance for reading it, and for discussing it next week!
Best,
Deborah Tomaras
