    You are invited to participate in the study, Use of Creative Endeavors to Combat Stress and Burnout in Library Work which is being conducted by Sarah Nagle and Megan Jaskowiak, librarians at Miami University, Oxford, OH. This research project has been reviewed and approved by the Miami University Institutional Review Board (IRB Protocol #05096e). 

     

    The purpose of this study is to expflore how library workers are using creative activities to mitigate work stress, and to what level their institutions are sanctioning creative activities as formal parts of work time. This survey also touches on the effectiveness of such activities in mitigating work stress and burnout.

    Participation in this research is restricted to persons 18 years of age or older and those that are librarians, full-time or part-time professional staff, managers, and any other staff who identify as library workers. Completing the survey should take about 10 minutes. Your participation is voluntary, you may skip questions you do not want to answer, and you may stop at any time.
