Reminder that the deadline to submit is December 10th. The full call is below.

The Core Access & Equity Section is planning a webinar based on our popular ALA 2024 panel session entitled Values-Driven Workflows: How Are We Implementing DEI in Routine Work and Policies?

More universities and other educational and cultural heritage institutions are developing strategic plans to support initiatives intending to achieve more diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. How are managers and other library leaders implementing these initiatives? We are seeking panelists to discuss current working practices, policies, and procedures that they have planned and/or implemented. Panelists may consider presenting on these topics:

    • What were the resources used to plan and implement?

    • How did you and/or other library leaders create buy-in from other staff and stakeholders?

    • What kind of training was involved?

    • How is success measured?

    • How is the procedure maintained?

Complete a submission using the Google form.

    Proposal deadline: December 10, 2024
Applicants will be notified by: December 14th, 2024

    Please note:
    • First time presenters are encouraged to submit!
    • If you were a part of the ALA panel, please feel free to submit again!
    • If you know of people who may be interested in presenting but not on this listserv, please share as needed!
