Metadata Quality Control I: Quality of Cataloger and Vendor Records

This is the first session of our PyMARC series on batch editing MARC records. Emily Fidelman will open with a review of using PyMARC to extract and identify MARC records to edit, in this case original and copy cataloging in WorldShare Management Services (WMS) by West Virginia University's catalogers. She discusses where you would integrate API calls to perform the edits, so that she can demonstrate editing records with the API in session five.

For our main event, Jenn Colt of Cornell will use PyMARC to identify MARC records from a vendor requiring quality control. She will demonstrate how to apply edits before loading records to FOLIO.
