I also support this proposal. There is a clear need and many uses cases for additional elements to describe notated movement. One note of caution: many of the "details of" elements in RDA are soft-deprecated, including details of format of notated music, on which the proposed new element details of format of notated movement is modeled. Since there is a moratorium on further development of soft-deprecated elements in RDA, the RSC may be wary of approving the creation of a new element that clearly fits the pattern of similar soft-deprecated elements.

Although I don't think the proposal should exclude details of format of notated movement, I recommend that the proposal acknowledge the issue of the soft-deprecated "details of" elements. Even if the RSC approves format of notated movement only, this element can accommodate the description of more details using unstructured description.

Music Library Association agrees with Jessica that the proposal should in the very least acknowledge that RSC plans to deprecate the "details of" elements and that the details of notated movement may be best accommodated in an unstructured description.

Also one quick editorial catch: on page 3 in the first paragraph, "vocal sores" should be "vocal scores".
