Hiya all--
Many thanks to those that attended our Project Management Interest Group meeting at ALA. We had a great discussion around many topics related to project management! Notes will be coming soon but in the mean time, I wanted to pass along the following opportunity to the community. Jenn Tullos stopped by our meeting to ask if anybody was interested in speaking at a new professional development course she is developing. Below is the information she sent to me, to pass along to you! Please contact Jenn directly with inquiries or questions. Thanks--Kirsten
From Jenn:
As I mentioned, I’m in the process of working with a certified PMP and MLIS professional to develop a virtual fall PD course, “Project Management Fundamentals for Librarians.” I’m currently seeking expert speakers to lead 45-minute sessions on various topics related to PM and librarianship. This is a virtual, paid opportunity, and I’m happy to share more about the curriculum for anyone who’s interested in speaking.
Similarly, I’m always looking to promote the course, too. So, if you could please pass along my info to your listserv for folks interested in either speaking at or taking the course, I would much appreciate it! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
With much gratitude,
Jenn
