Core CC:DA Public Space

Hi everyone:

As discussed at the CC:DA virtual meeting last week, CC:DA is going to partner with NARDAC to present a preconference on a topic relating to RDA at ALA annual in San Diego. NARDAC would like a response from us by next Monday with ideas for a topic.

So far, Amanda Xu has expressed interest in a workshop on RDF as it related to RDA, and Kathy Glennan has suggested something on application profiles, with Ryan Tamares seconding that suggestion. 

If you have any other ideas (and you don't have to be on CC:DA to suggest something) please post them in the discussion. I'd like to take a vote on Friday so I can write something up to send to Bob and Adam by Monday.

Hi there,

On this topic, does NARDAC know what days/time slots the preconference(s) will be held?  I'm just curious since conference registration opens next week, and this could affect how people plan for their conference and what kind of funding support they request from their institution.
