Peer Review Process in publishing

  • 1.  Peer Review Process in publishing

I ran across this article about the peer review process in publishing.  This article was published last year; but I think it is still very relevant.

    Charlotte Roh

Owning the peer review process: if we have to do this work, we should own it.

Roh, C. (2022). Owning the peer review process: If we have to do this work, we should own it. College & Research Libraries News, 83(3), 100. doi:https://doi.org/10.5860/crln.83.3.100

So how do you view 'open peer review' as it is suggested in this article?

If you have been a reviewer for a journal, did you receive any training?

The profession has always looked at being a reviewer as part of being a good citizen for the profession, should a reviewer get paid for the reviewing?
