  • 1.  Notice to group: Question about incoming chair(s)

    Posted Aug 01, 2023 12:19 PM

    Hello Electronic Resources IG,

I'm a member of the Core Interest Group Coordinating Committee. We are reviewing the Core IGs for this year and noticed your group does not have a designated Chair for the 23-24 year. If there is a new chair, please complete the May Report for IGs: https://alacore.org/handbook/interest-groups/report-form/ .  This form will ask for the new Chair when the May report is selected. Without a chair, the group will need to be dissolved.

If your group does not have a new Chair for this year, this may be a good time for the group to ask for volunteers to lead the group.  Please let the IG Coordinating Committee know by August 15th of the new chair for your group.

    Thanks for your help,

Rachel Turner, on behalf of the  Core Interest Group Coordinating Committee

    Good morning,

I just wanted to follow up on the email I sent at the beginning of the month inquiring about co-chairs for the  2023/2024 year. Does the Electronic Resources IG have co-chairs for this year? If so, please let us know who they are! If you don't hear from you the IG may be sunsetted.

    Thank you,

Rachel – do you mean the Role of the Professional Librarian in Technical Services Interest Group? The co-chairs for 2023-24 are Alayne Mundt and Greg Ferguson, copied on this email.

I have never been a member of the Core Electronic Resources Interest Group, so do not have any information about that group.
