Want to put your reading on science fiction to use? Have you been wanting to get on a Notables committee? Consider volunteering for Core's Committee Recognizing Excellence in Children's and Young Adult Science Fiction! Committee terms run January through January. You'll read roughly 100 science fiction books across picture books, middle grades, and YA fiction each year of the two year term.

Also, Imagineering gets to appoint one member to the committee each year, and the current term of service for that person is about to expire. So you have good odds.

Volunteer here: Committee Recognizing Excellence in Children's and Young Adult Science Fiction

And I'm happy to answer any questions.
