    An informal group of library workers led by ALA's Services to Refugees, Immigrants, and Displaced Persons (SRIDP) Sub-Committee is asking for feedback about how libraries and library consortia have locally treated the Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) "Illegal aliens," "Illegal immigration," and their variants (such as "Children of illegal aliens") in their catalogs. This is a follow-up to a 2019 survey by the SAC Working Group on Alternatives to LCSH "Illegal aliens"; if you responded to that survey, please fill out this survey as well. The survey is open to all libraries, even if you haven't made changes to these headings-feel free to share with your networks. This survey contains between 6 to 17 questions, depending on your answers, and will take between 5 to 15 minutes to complete. Contact violetbfox@gmail.com with any questions.
