It's that time of the year. . .Pumpkin Spice time also known as Fall. We're nearly halfway through the month of September. . .where does the time go??

In the Northeast, the kids went back to school (FINALLY!) and the grocery stores are stocked with Pumpkin Spice Everything.

At SCLSNJ, we're getting ready to receive bids to redesign our website. Our Youth Services librarians and staff are detoxing from a successful Summer Reading program, and with the change of seasons, it's time to do some Spring Cleaning--only, it's Fall, so we'll call it Fall Cleaning. Our main branch just recently moved the self-service hold shelves to a new location and put new materials front and center. It amazes me how  small changes can breathe a fresh breath of air into the library.

What does Fall signal at your library? Is it the time to start weeding projects or finalize them? Is this a time to plan for the next season and if so, what's on your horizon that you're excited about? Hispanic Heritage month? Banned Books week? Nanowrimo? Is it your fiscal year end? (Does anyone get excited about that?? )

What's happening this Fall at your library? Let's share a community "breath of fresh air" with our Library Fall Favorites!
