As we prepare to launch a series of events in 2023, we want to be clear that the ALA Core Library Leaders and Managers Interest Group is an open forum in the ALA Connect community for anyone who wishes to participate. You do not need to be a member of ALA, nor a member of ALA Core, to be involved with this online community. We welcome library leaders and managers from all library types - school, public, academic, special - and from all levels, including mid-level managers, seasoned leaders, new directors, and anyone interested in improving their management and leadership skills.
ALA members may use their normal ALA login to access this space. Those who are not ALA members need to register for the ALA Connect site. There is no charge and no limited free period for access. Additional instructions are available through the

"Free Account Sign UP" youtube video.
We look forward to creating an active and useful forum for all participants!
