The Library of Congress has updated its policy for recording literary author numbers in 053 fields in name authority records. Effective August 1, 2023, 053 fields in name authority records may be used to record the LC Classification numbers listed below (PZ) for juvenile literary authors. A subfield $c will be required for these PZ classification numbers. The following table should be used:
