Hello all,
I have posted very short minutes of our very short April meeting, where Michelle, Lisa, and I were able to review questions for our eForum, happening yesterday and today!
We tabled the "invite-a-resource-sharing-friend" idea; we can discuss questions for our "friends" at the October meeting if that is still something we want to host, i.e. "How can MFHD help with the problems you all encounter." I'd still like to do that if we have enough people!
Another thing to mention, though, is our low-low membership. We're trying to drum up interest at the eForum, and let's all hope we do find some more folks who'd be, well. interested in the Interest Group. I can hold out on chairing for another year, but with no Vice Chair, I think we may be nearing the end of our run if there aren't more folks to carry the torch. Something to think about!
I'll post a link to an ALA room for the October meeting closer to time, and we'll debrief the eForum as well as preparing for future activities like inviting folks from Resource Sharing. Unless, of course, we have a surge in membership :-D, in which case watch for welcome messages and the like in between now and October! As always, if you're encountering holdings questions and problems, this discussion list is open to start a conversation!
