The University of Richmond Boatwright Memorial Library is seeking an Acquisitions Associate to join the Resource Acquisitions and Delivery department to support the workflow of library collection materials purchasing. The primary responsibilities of this position are: placing and tracking orders and payments in the integrated library system (ILS) as well as the university's enterprise resource procurement (ERP) system, ensuring that invoices are processed, identifying and correcting errors and exceptions, reconciling purchasing card transactions, and receiving materials ordered. The position collaborates and consults with fellow Budget, Acquisitions, and Discovery division members to help make operations more effective and responsive to the needs of library users.

We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may come from a less traditional background. We will consider an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. If you are interested in applying, we encourage you to think broadly about your background and skill set for the role.

Along with the online application, please include a cover letter highlighting your experience as it relates to the qualifications, a resume highlighting relevant work history and education, and three current references.  For full consideration, please apply by September 10th
