Hello all,

We are accepting applications for the Head of Preservation position at the University of Texas Libraries.

Head of Preservation

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Stewardship, the Head of Preservation will oversee a comprehensive analog preservation program for the University of Texas Libraries, which includes collections care/preventive conservation, repair of collections, emergency planning and response, and support for exhibitions and loans. Additionally, this position will provide oversight for the newly established Collections Preservation and Research Complex (CPRC), a high-density storage facility and reading room at the University's Pickle Research Campus in North Austin.   

Salary Range: $72,000+, depending on qualifications

Location: University of Texas at Austin main campus (Perry-Castañeda Library) and Pickle Research Campus (Collections Preservation & Research Complex), both in Austin, TX.
