    Hello,

    In light of the Library of Congress's recent announcement that they will suspend monthly subject editorial meetings, the ALA Subject Analysis Committee (SAC) has agreed to collect public comments on tentative monthly subject lists. Until now, SAC's procedure has been only to collect comments on tentative lists from SAC members and then forward those comments to LC. By opening up the call for comments in our public space, we wish to provide a convenient community forum for library professionals to submit comments and discuss monthly lists.

    We invite you to join us in the Core Subject Analysis Committee Public Space to share comments on individual tentative monthly lists for LCSH, LCGFT, and LCDGT.
