    The Core Library Consulting Interest Group is Seeking a Chair for 2025-2026

    We're looking for our next Interest Group Chair (or Co-Chairs) for the 2025-2026 ALA year - and we'd love for you to consider stepping into this important role!

    Why volunteer?
    Serving as Chair is a fantastic way to:
    ✔️ Connect with fellow library consultants and leaders
    ✔️ Shape conversations and programs that matter to our profession
    ✔️ Build your ALA involvement and leadership experience
    ✔️ Contribute to the library consulting community in meaningful ways

    Chair responsibilities include:

    • Organizing Interest Group meetings and discussion topics

    • Promoting the Interest Group and its programs

    • Coordinating our participation in Core Interest Group Week

    • Completing administrative tasks (with Core staff support)

    Whether you're an experienced consultant or new to ALA Core, this is a great opportunity to serve, grow your network, and make a difference in the profession.

    Consider serving solo or alongside a colleague as Co-Chairs!
