    That's a Wrap!

    May 2, 2024, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. PDT (panel discussion – freely available via Zoom)

This panel discussion provides reflections on the two cataloging exhibitions in the Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) at the Fresno State Library during the 2023-24 school year. (SCRC Team Speakers: Julie Renee Moore, Tammy Lau, Adam Wallace, Suzanne López, Ben Nehring.)

The two exhibitions are: "Words Matter! The Inclusive Cataloging Movement Takes Flight" and "Unseen Labor" a traveling exhibition of embroidery art pieces created by catalogers and metadata specialists.

The SCRC Team will discuss their main roles in these exhibitions – from the installation to the final month, what we learned, and what this work has meant to us. Participants will learn how and why they might consider doing similar exhibitions and activities.
