Hello everyone,
The ALA Core Consortium Management Interest Group is excited to announce our first event of the year!
Join us on Thursday, December 5, at 3 PM Eastern Time for an hour-long webinar on "Demonstrating Consortial Value: Challenges and Opportunities."
In this webinar, two library consortium leaders will discuss the complexities of demonstrating consortial value to members and their communities. They will delve into the challenges consortia face in quantifying and articulating their impact, from cost savings and resource sharing to broader benefits like collaboration, professional development, and community enrichment. The speakers will also highlight solutions and collaboratively developed tools that aim to capture and communicate the full spectrum of consortial value more effectively. Our multinational speakers include Hannah Rosen, Director of Member Programs, OhioNet, and Leah Hopton, Communications Manager, British Columbia Electronic Library Network (BC ELN).
The webinar is free to all and will be recorded for posterity. Register at https://ala-events.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_vYT_C913R5i0vBt8CCJi9A
