About this Group

Purpose: Discusses the various collection development and collection management issues of concern to large research libraries, especially issues affecting diverse collections that support a broad spectrum of instructional, research, and cultural programs. Provide sa forum for the exchange of information on new developments, techniques, challenges, and opportunities in managing library collections, as well as seeking opportunities for collaboration and cooperation to increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of support for our institutions.

    Art Resources Transfer's Library Program provides free books on art and culture to public institutions nationwide.

     

    We warmly invite all public libraries, public schools, prisons, and reading centers to place an order of free books.

    You can then browse our book catalog, which offers 300+ titles published by leading museums, galleries, and independent presses nationwide: https://www.artresourcestransfer.org/library-program

     

    You can order as many titles as you like, at one copy per title, once per year. Books are entirely free and shipped free of charge.
