    Good afternoon, 

    Please mark your calendars for our fall meeting where we will discuss building our capacity in a time of change. We are seeking volunteers to lead discussion and present around: 
    • Building collections in partnership with Technical Services
    • Professional engagement and learning during the pandemic (how do we build knowledge to meet needs when there's little funding)
    • Implications of hiring freezes on specialized services

    Hello everyone,
    We are looking forward to seeing you on Zoom on Wednesday, November 17 at 1:30PM-3PM Eastern Standard Time.

    Ellen and I will start with some introductory remarks,  followed by breakout group discussion on the topic  Building our capacity in a time of change.
    we will offer some starter comments and questions on the themes:
    • Building collections in partnership with Technical Services
    • Professional engagement and learning during the pandemic (how do we build knowledge to meet needs when there's little funding)
    • Implications of hiring freezes on specialized services
    However, we hope each group will have a lively topic on the aspects meaningful to you all.

    We can wrap things up by reconvening to share key points and possible next steps.
