Hi, all! (Cross-posting this a couple of places for visibility)
Has anyone compared the various Discovery systems (Summon, Primo, EDS, WorldCat Discovery, etc.) and/or made made a switch from one to the other?
We are a small, primarily online, academic library. As such, we rely heavily on our Discovery system (currently Summon) as our gateway to our collections. Because we are small and primarily online, however, we don't really need a full ILS. We HAVE relied pretty heavily on demand-driven acquisition for e-books through ProQuest (which worked really seamlessly with Summon), but with Clarivate taking that away, we're exploring e-book solutions through EBSCO and are wondering if EDS or another discovery system might be worth switching to.
Appreciate any thoughts you might have to share comparing the various discovery systems, particularly from any small and/or primarily digital libraries!
Thanks,
Jennifer
